Biography

Mélanie Bernard (born September 14, 1974 in Jonquière, Québec, Canada) is a Canadian former professional tennis player. She reached a career-high doubles ranking of No. 90 on January 29, 1996 and a career-high singles ranking of No. 253 on July 31, 1995. Along with compatriot Caroline Delisle, she made it to the third round in doubles at the 1995 French Open and to the first round at the 1995 Wimbledon. Also with Delisle, she reached the semifinals of the 1994 Challenge Bell. She retired in 1998.
