Hugo Di Feo
Biography
Hugo Di Feo (born April 18, 1995 in Montréal, Québec, Canada) is a Canadian former tennis player. He reached a career-high singles ranking of No. 896 on May 19, 2014 and a career-high doubles ranking of No. 536 on February 10, 2014. Di Feo also reached a career-high ITF junior ranking of No. 19 on January 1, 2013. He was a part of the Ohio State University tennis team from 2014 to 2018. He did not turned professional following his graduation, and he is now working as a tennis coach. In 2013, he reached the third round of the junior Australian Open and the second round of the junior Wimbledon. The same year, Di Feo won his first ITF doubles title in Quintana Roo, Mexico. In 2017, he he captured his second ITF doubles title, this time in Rochester, United States, and a week later his third in Pittsburgh, United States.
Di Feo was born in Montréal, Québec to Giovanni Di Feo and Marie Cantin. His father is of Italian descent. He first started playing tennis at the age of six, and was part of Tennis Canada's National Training Centre in Montréal from 2010 to 2013.
