Biography

Jana Nejedly (born June 9, 1974 in Prague, Czech Republic) is a Canadian former professional tennis player. Nejedly's highest singles ranking is No. 64, which she reached on October 2, 2000. Her career-high doubles rankink is No. 227 set on August 12, 1996. She was born in Prague, Czech Republic, raised in Vancouver, British Columbia and now resides in Toronot, Ontario. In 1999, she reached the third round of the Australian Open. She also reachesd the third round of the US Open in 2001. Nejedly retired in 2003 but had a brief return in 2012. She would finally retire for the last time in July of the same year.
