Sonya Jeyaseelan (born April 24, 1976 in New Westminster, British Columbia, Canada) is a Canadian former professional tennis player. She reached a career-high WTA singles ranking of No. 48 on December 4, 2000 and a career-high WTA doubles ranking of No. 40 on October 16, 2000.
In 1994, Jeyaseelan reached the final of the junior French Open. In 1996, she reached the quarterfinals in doubles at the US Open with compatriot Rene Simpson. In 1998, she advanced to her first and only WTA singles final, losing to Paola Suárez in Bogotá, Colombia. She has won two WTA doubles titles, both of them in Strasbourg, France (in 2000 and 2003). She also reached the doubles final in Palermo, Italy in 1999. She was named Tennis Canada female player of the year in 2000. She retired in 2004. Jeyaseelan was inducted into the Canadian Tennis Hall of Fame in 2011.
