In 1997 at tournament in Surabaya, Indonesia, Kolbovic reached her first and only WTA doubles final with compatriot [[Maureen Drake]]. Alongside Aneta Soukup she won the bronze medal in doubles at the 1999 Pan American Games in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She retired in 2003.
