'''Martin Laurendeau''' (born July 10, 1964 in Montréal, Québec, Canada) is a Canadian former professional tennis player. He reached a career-high ATP singles ranking of No. 90 on October 10, 1988 and a career-high ATP doubles ranking of No. 139 on August 21, 1989. Laurendeau starred in collegiate tennis at Pepperdine University where he played between 1984 and 1987. He finished his career with the second most career singles wins in school history with 80 and the third best singles winning percentage (.816). During his pro career which stretched from 1986 to 1993, his best results were a round of 16 appearance at the 1988 US Open and a third round appearance at the 1991 Wimbledon, both in singles. He was captain of the [[Canada Davis Cup team]] from 2004 to 2017 and is the current coach of Canadian tennis player [[Denis Shapovalov]].
