Biography

Greg Halder (born December 5, 1955 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada) is a Canadian former professional tennis player. He reached a career-high ATP singles ranking of No. 90 in 1981 and an unknown career-high ATP doubles ranking.

Halder competed in the main draws of the 1978 French Open and Wimbledon in singles, losing both times in the first round. In doubles, he reached the second round of the 1977 French Open. He also lost in the first round in doubles of the 1978 French Open and Wimbledon. In 1977 at the event in North Conway, United States, he upset then world No. 5 Raúl Ramírez in the second round. He was defeated in the next round. He retired in 1983.
